Josh Meeter made a claymation film The Award Showdown inspired
by his favorite directors Spielberg and Lucas.
Josh has high aesthetic standards: he wants his art to look as professional
as possible. He has his own website
and logo.
Josh pointedly went for the Lucas/Spielberg fanbase. After getting Spielberg's
attention, Josh's piece was hosted on Spielberg's fan site, among other
fan sites. Currently, ifilm.com hosts The
Award Showdown.
After his computer crashed and he lost much of the digital effects he was
putting on The Award Showdown, Josh decided to forge ahead and start work
on his first feature length film. It's an original science fiction story
about Edison in Las Vegas.
